How to get JCOP Tools from NXP
1. Write a letter to tools.jcop@nxp.com to request JCOP Tools.
2. One NXP guy will respond quickly (about 3 hour response time) and ask you to create a personal account in their document delivery system DocStore (https://www.docstore.nxp.com), such that he can request the download link for you and then you can download the package quite easy. (AR: Register your personal account in NXP DocStore)
3. Turn to NXP DocStore site to create a personal account
4. A mail sent to you by NXP DocStore titled “Confirm your NXP DocStore registration”. (Action Required: Confirm your NXP DocStore registration by clicking the “Activate” link in the mail)
5. A mail sent to you by NXP DocStore titled “Welcome to NXP DocStore”. (Action Required: N/A)
6. A mail sent to you by NXP DocStore titled “NXP DocStore Certificate delivery”. Please find pdf file in the attachment and extract the certificate, then install the certificate into the pdf reader according to the instructions dictated in the pdf file.
7. A mail sent to you by NXP DocStore titled “DocStore registration process completed”.
8. The same NXP guy will mail to you and explain that he has already requested the package for you, and the time you can expect it.
9. A mail sent to you by NXP DocStore titled “NXP DocStore Action required”. (Action Required: Confirm your document requests by clicking the “Activate you object” link in the mail.)
10. After quite some time (2 hours for the author), login the DocStore and you’ll find JCOP Tools is there ready for downloading. (Action Required: Download the JCOP Tools package.)
11. Download the JCOP Tools and unpack the zip file, Following the instruction in “AN_JCOP_Tools_Getting_Started.pdf” to install the Eclipse plug-in and request Activation code by sending serial number from the JCOP Licensing Wizard, and your PGP key. (Action Required: download/install GnuPG, genkey and send the pubring.gpg out)
12. Expect the Activation Code then.
13. The same NXP guy will mail to you your Activation Code. (AR: Just to fill it in the JCOP Licensing Wizard in eclipse installation)
