這是建中合唱團的團歌, Let There Be Music
Let there be music from the fruited plains,
Which yield to the toiler's hand.
Music from the azure skies,
Over a peaceful land.
Let us hear songs of men whose faith has grown,
Tall as the Indian corn.
Songs that breathe a fervent prayer,
For the land where they were born.
May kindness and forbearance
Make this land a glorious place.
Where each man feels a brotherhood,
Unmarred by creed or race.
May the songs of man inspire,
Our deeds to be so designed.
That we may glorify our God,
And live to serve mankind.

為什麼忽然想起這首歌呢?
剛剛在政大書城忽然看到一本書""作者是游森棚, 游森棚學長也是建中合唱團的學長,
從畢業之後二十年不見了, 人生一夢, 學長已經是一位大學教授, 還出版教育建中資優班的心得
所以心中就響起了這首歌
